Meet Our 2023 Speakers

Lindsay C. Gibson, PsyD

Lindsay C. Gibson is an author and clinical psychologist who has been a psychotherapist for over thirty years. She has written several books, including the Amazon bestseller, Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents. In the past, Dr. Gibson has served as an adjunct assistant professor for the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, teaching doctoral students clinical theory and psychotherapy techniques. She specializes in therapy and coaching with adults to attain new levels of personal growth, emotional intimacy with others, and confidence in dealing with emotionally immature family members. Amy Marlow-MaCoy, LPC - author, clinical trainer, and narcissistic abuse specialist

Amy Marlow-MaCoy is a licensed professional counselor, clinical trainer, and author of The Gaslighting Recovery Workbook (Callisto Media, 2020) and The Clinician’s Guide to Treating Adult Children of Narcissists (PESI, 2023). Amy specializes in treating adult children of narcissists in healing from the pain of their families of origin. When not in the therapy room or training fellow clinicians, Amy can be found snuggling her cats or curled up with a good sci-fi book

Julie L. Hall

Julie L. Hall is an author and coach specializing in complex trauma resulting from narcissistic abuse in families and relationships. She founded the award-winning blog Narcissist Family Files, and her popular book The Narcissist in Your Life: Recognizing the Patterns and Learning to Break Free is the most comprehensive examination of narcissistic family systems available. As a coach, Julie draws from her research and writing about attachment and trauma in narcissistic families as well as her experience as a survivor. Keilani Perisian-Mason, LMHC

I am a licensed mental health therapist and life coach with a passion for working with adult children of emotional neglect as they learn to identify and heal from the abuse, and live a more authentic live! I am the host of Delightfully Dysfunctional, a podcast about exploring the experiences of being human and the emotions that come with it, with messages of insight and education wrapped into a relatable conversation. I am passionate about helping people heal from their past and develop healthy boundaries to thrive in their future.

Mordy Gottlieb, LMSW, CSAT-C

Mordy is a recognized clinician in the field of recovery from Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) and how it manifests as trauma, addictions, and other dysfunctional behaviors. He has worked with some of the nation's most recognized trauma and addiction recovery centers, as well as been hosted by podcasts, schools, and other community resources. Mordy runs The Game Changer Group in Scottsdale, AZ specializing in group therapy, helping clients reduce shame, rediscover their voice, develop self-compassion, and find meaningful, nurturing, and safe enough relationships.

Hannah Alderete, LMHC

Hannah Alderete, LMHC is a therapist who specializes in the treatment for adult children of narcissistic parents. In her work, Hannah loves to emphasize self-empowerment, and works to help her clients re-parent themselves by developing skills that foster a deeper connection to themselves. Hannah currently writes a blog of psychologytoday.com and has written a book called Break Free from Narcissistic Mothers: A Step-by-Step Workbook for Ending Toxic Behavior, Setting Boundaries, and Reclaiming Your Life, which is available on Amazon. Hannah is currently working on her PhD and is hopeful about contributing further to the field of narcissistic abuse recovery.

Dr. Andrea Garraway, LCMHC-S, LCAS, CCS, ICAADC, ICCS

Dr. Andrea Garraway was born and raised in Guyana, South America. She prides herself on being a devoted family woman, scholar, and global citizen. Dr. Garraway is a board-certified practitioner and author. She has been in professional practice as a psychotherapist for 13 years. Her experience includes providing individual, group, marriage, and couples counseling to clients with treatment needs concerning substance misuse, chemical dependency, and recovery. Additionally, her professional experience includes work with trauma, grief, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and self-mutilation/injury. Dr. Garraway continues research on resilience, generational legacy, and clinical supervision. Most recently she contributed three chapters to the 2023 SAGE Encyclopedia of Multicultural Counseling, Social Justice, and Advocacy project. Dr. Garraway is passionate about education and the power of prevention.

Katherine Fabrizio M.A., L.C.M.H.C.

Katherine Fabrizio holds a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and has been a Licensed Psychotherapist for over 30 years. Dedicated to empowering women, one mother/daughter relationship at a time, she offers help to daughters of difficult mothers in her private practice and online at Daughtersrising.info. Katherine lives in Raleigh, N.C., where she raised her two daughters. She is the author of The Good Daughter Syndrome.

Jennifer Delaney, MA, LPC

Jen speaks regularly to local and international organizations. Certified in Brainspotting, she treats the effects of trauma related to parental wounding and runs the Parental Wounds Workshop several times a year. A Reiki-master and writer, she maintains an engaging and informative channel on Youtube and a blog at jenniferdelaney.com. Passionate about healing parental wounds, Jen believes that if more people develop the neural networks to accept and resonate with love, our species might be around longer.
